Likely, yes. It probably aligns with the lanterns going into the air. I do find it odd in some ways though if thats the case:

- No "Vs" chapter like Sanji, Zoro, and Kid/Law got
- No "Acala" move (assuming it's just the same clash from last chapter)
- He loses in Full Zoan (i.e. no big Kanabo clash with Luffy; again assuming it's the same clash)

Of course these aren't "rules" Oda needs to follow, totally understand that.

Kaido is defeated because Luffy punched harder. Screaming something that only refers to Tama.
Flashback does not seem to cover anything interesting. I guess "Poor baby Kaido look how bad he was treated"
