What made me disappointed on Sanji vs Queen is that Oda always draws Sanji fights with good choreography, even Sanji vs Judge a one chapter fight had good choreography, Queen revealed some key arsenal far too late used far too little, using Germa's tech should have taken a bit more time to explore them.

I only enjoyed their fight for Sanji's character development tbh

No one is denying his theme of strength and might.
But why is he like that? We only saw a generic war torn country, ok now he is their strongest soldier.
But where did he come from? Was he born there? Why does he have horns? How did Rocks influence and interact with him? Did he do it at all?
Kaido could have and absolutely should have been characterized more deeply considering that the majority of Post TS has been dedicated to bringing him down.

But Kaido is a generic "i'm so strong bad guy".
Nothing wrong with that, I actually think he works well like that. Just like Crocodile worked really well just being some bad guy that wanted some powerful weapon to take over the world bla bla bla, imo.

Denjiro and Hiyori would destroy Orochi unless he was strong or had Hotei actually be useful and protect him, that would have made more interesting to some extend instead of bringing Kanjuro back for the 50th time like he was an ancient zoan user

I get not including anything Rocks related in there, that is likely saved for a separate FB. But the rest of the stuff not being included there is weird.

I just hope we get a bit more as Kaido is falling down.

Tbh the series is already in its endgame stage, no need to hide anything atp.

- how did he learn of Joyboy?
- The answer from his own words as to why he's suicidal

I would be perfectly fine if this is the end of Kaido if right before he's gone we learn these two things. The Oni stuff could be left for Yamato, and Rocks for Blackbeard

Honestly, Hyori didn't even have to be some major strong warrior to bring Orochi down.
Orochi has a cool fruit and that's it.
He's trash. He doesn't do A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G.
Most "flex" he did this arc was shooting at a tied up Yasuie from a afar with a rifle.
Pretty sure any fodder samurai on this raid could have dealt with Orochi, ngl.

Its just that the main focus of the fight was Sanji's character, and not actually trading blows nonstop, like most Sanji's fights use to be

The drawing/art wasn't that good by the end

The anime will have to save it (like they always do on most main fights)

All the fights in this raid were very rushed. Instead on focusing on the main fights that the fans wanted to see, Oda instead chose to focus on irrelevant samurais that nobody gives two shits about.

Maybe the anime will expend on those fights more but as a non-anime watcher and if that's what Oda have really been planning on from the get go then I say fuck the anime because it's ruining the manga for the rest of us.

All Oda had to do is have Hiyori pull the other sword and behead him and explain that she had been secretly trained by Denjiro.

I feel like Tama could swing a sword and take his head off, there was absolutely no reason Hiyori couldn’t do it other than saving it for Denjiro

He learned about Joy Boy from King.
Then later Yamato was talking about Joy Boy as well and he learned that Oden wanted to open Wano to welcome this Joy Boy fella.
That's why he said "so you couldn't be Joy Boy" after beating Luffy. He was already expecting this Joy Boy dude to come and beat him up. He was excited to fight Luffy, but Luffy proved a "disappointment" at that moment.

At least that's what I got from all of this mess.

Not an achievement considering how random the solution was
Hiyori back to poor princess waiting to be saved, and Denjiro jump in out of nowhere
Momo just randomly shouts and farts came out, I would’ve take a cliché flashback powerup

I'm not saying it was good, just resolved. The 3 chapters that involved the climax had something else going on.

We should have gotten Brook & Weakling Trio vs Apoo and Numbers.
Instead of wasting numbers on characters who don't need to prove themselves (Luffy, Yamato..) I would have given them to characters who are starving for feats
