perhaps I thought they would be blown out of the water later from other commanders
but they werent really.


kaido's zoan army should have felt more formidable than this as well
all of them are ability users . it just wasnt stressed enough

Because most of the Kaido pirates are not tricky opponents...they are straightforward zoan users...BMP is not strength based but techniue and verstality. Hence, Luffy struggled because his straight forward approach won't work with them.

The arc is shit. The BS and irrelevant shit happening from beginning to especially the end of the arc make it a shitty ass arc. Best moments in this arc is the small amount of focus we got on the Strawhats and what's happening outside of Wano. Even Oden who started out good for me in his FB, Oda ruined him for me for the amount of wank and BS that he pulled later with him. The overwhelming rest of the arc is a huge pile of doo doo.
