Did Luffy Beat Kaido Fairly?

For all the people who want Kaido to get back up, would that in any way, fix all the shit Oda has done to wano?
Like think about it.

Say ZKK happens, then that means the past 50 chapters of Luffy vs Kaido was meaningless, specifically the part where Oda spent 3 chapters on Luffy charging up a punch.

I'd give the same argument as to why kaido doesn't come back even if ZKK didn't happen and Luffy just had one final round with kaido. Bajrang gun was shitty, but the buildup was there for the attack to take out kaido. It had so much force behind it that it launched Kaido through wano and into a pit of magma.

I think people aren't understanding the cover story. Seems like there are multiple people at Totland.

- The silhouettes were shown at Chocolate Town
- Cracker/Brulee think it's Germa @ Chocolate Town
- Niji/Yonji are trapped in a book on WCI, not Chocolate Town
- Reiju/Ichiji save them on WCI.


So that still leaves the question of who is at Chocolate Town then.

Because people dont want to argue logic and just go with how they feel. None of my arguments have been based on any agenda or emotions. I just look at what the story states will happen or how it is structured.
The fact alone that none of the Wano citizens saw Kaido's and Orochi's defeats make me think they're getting back up given how it's emphasized multiple times that the Wano samurai and Strawhats need to see Luffy's defeat in order to be defeated makes me think the same applies to Kaido and Orochi who are not seen by anyone to be defeated. Oda literally makes it a tradition in every major manga arc yet people think it's not going to happen in this arc as well which is the final arc to the New World/4 Yonkos saga

Did you not see my example from 1043? Initial spoilers make zero mention of Luffy awakening. It mentions Momo and Zunesha talking, that's it.

Ngl as an anti ZKK and even if ZKK doesn’t really happen but Kaido getting up and having everyone fighting him sharing in Luffy’s W I’m more concerned than at any point in the story, Kaido getting back up means that Luffy really isn’t a top tier and Oda trolled us

IMO, the only way that this chapter ends it is if new info comes out showing that:

1. The people of Wano witnessed Kaido's defeat
2. The dawn came & toki's prophecy was fulfilled
3. We get an actual conclusion to Kaido (i.e., we don't just seem him sink into the magma without some kind of closing words/thoughts/whatever that indicate that he is done)

There's also the matter of the actual narrator's box. The fact that it's Nekomamushi announcing Kaido's defeat (assuming there's no additional narration box) is eerily similar to the 3+ times that Lola and her crew kept declaring Luffy's victory over Moria/Oars over and over again
