On the contrary. A theory needs to be disproven. This is the principle of refutability.
The CarrotForNakama theory, is the best way to explain all the weird occurence and weird treatment of Carrot in whole cake. It CAN be disproven, but not until a very specific moment.
Until then you will just have to wait or come with a better explanation for Carrot's weird treatment. Because "she is just a background or Oda did that by pure whim" doesn't make sence on a narrative basis.

He is right It is only matter time until Yamato ends up meeting the other members of the strawhat crew and get wanted poster alongside with them as well just like Franky did in enis lobby. You cannot tell me Kaido's flashback did not answer these following questions. For example, why did he choose wano, why does kaido refer Yamato's as his son, what happened to Yamato's mother, his and her race about the ogres. What classifies them as such? What is Yamato and kaido relationship before they met oden. Where was Yamato's even born when Kaido state Yamato is not native to wano despite fighting for them.
Carrot is not going to join the crew she does not add anything new to the story. Her problem has been resolved by non strawhats. Saying she does not need past just means you do not care for her reason for set dream/goal or past trauma that the strawhats need to resolve for her. Saying she does not need to take part in this current arc and is not about her it does further our notion she will not be part of them. Saying Carrot needs to come understand to try proving her worthiness member crew it just like you dreaming just like how fans wanted Bartolomeo to join main team.

Big bro Chopper did not show any concern for his little sister being hurt, being defeat by perospero and during the fire throughout the battlefield. So how does strong bond if they never came to her defense or show concern for her as a character..
