I feel like you’d benefit from throwing a hostile indie or something on both sides to force both sides to do some internal hunting.

Otherwise Idk how you distinguish mafia hunting enemy mafia from town hunting enemy mafia.

Well it would be up to the other side to determine that. Can have an indie on each side that wins if the other side wins I guess, keeps some internal conflict going.

I think having that indie on each side and forcing each side to look internally a little would help things not be pure dodgeball lol.
