I dont see why not.

In the manga they were not apple to stop gazelleman from kidnapping.

It would be completely different if in the manga gazelman was stopped but in the anime he ran away.
So you can accept Luffy and Zoro losing altercation when they fought with them before leaving then.

While yes they didn't stop them, but in extended fight it made Luffy and Zoro look more like chumps when Batman one up them in stop advancing so going by that it makes them look unable to keep up despite manga showing different later.

The Tobi Roppo aren't Kaido's "veterans" (Perospero/Compote/Daifuku/Oven); the Numbers fill that role. The Headliners are pirate captains serving under Kaido's flag, and the Tobi Roppo are the strongest six; they're separate from Kaido's 13 deck of cards, and the Tobi Roppo could range up to YC3 or even more. Page One could be around Snack's level. If Big Mom can have an extra YC (Jimbe) among the pirate captains under her flag, then so can Kaido.

Like always some people like to bitch and complain, anyways the episode wasn't that bad with the exception of the ending as well as the scene with Luffy which was a pointless scene to show. Sanji was beating the crap out of Page One and when Page One threw Sanji it barely did any damage to him, Sanji's last attack against Page One was pretty cool but there is no proof that attack was his strongest.

When it comes to Page One some people need to realize that Page One isn't weak, he's a member of the flying six meaning that he is one of the strongest headliners yet some people think he is like another Holdem. Page One is also a zoan user and not just any zoan user he's an ancient zoan user and since he's an ancient zoan user he should have a immense durability, someone like Page One shouldn't be defeated that easily like some people think.

Now imo the episode was pretty good especially the part when Sanji turns invisible and starts attacking Page One, the problem with the episode is the ending where Sanji decides to leave instead of continuing the fight and defeating Page One. The main reason why that's a problem is because it goes against what Sanji said about decreasing the enemy forces, yeah the outcome of the fight wasn't shown in the manga but if Page One really wasn't defeated then why isn't he not looking for Sanji and why is there no mention of him? Instead it's X Drake looking for Sanji and he also doesn't mention Page One at all, this was almost implying that Sanji defeated Page One. But if Sanji really didn't defeat Page One then where is he, did he decide to go back to Onigashima and instead let X Drake go after for Sanji if that's the case then that's a bit sad for Page One as a character because you would think he would still look for Sanji after what he did to him.

Anyways with the exception of the ending as well as the scene with Luffy, I still enjoyed this episode and thought it was pretty good and I could care less what the haters or the annoying extreme Zoro wankers have to say.:attachpol::sanmoji:

Ugh I’m so annoyed right now. Cause on the one hand, this fight looks amazing. The animation is great, and I don’t even mind some of the filler stuff they added. Showing Page One a bit more is definitely not a problem.

The entire problem with this episode comes from the ending of this fight. In the manga, the ending was ambiguous, but it had a clear leaning towards Sanji beating Page One. With Sanji being shown to be completely fine afterwards, Page One nowhere to be seen, and Drake looking for revenge. Here Sanji just leaves without accomplishing the entire reason he started this fight. One top of that, Page One just tanks every attack that Sanji throws at him? Like I get ancient zoans are tough, but you couldn’t give him a bruise? How does this fight make Sanji look good in any way?

Why are you making crap up? We literally know nothing about the numbers. May I remind you that X-Drake is literally TEN?

The numbers are too numerous to be Veterans. There was 4-5 Top Veterans. They are more like the Enraged Army than anything.

This is a very good episode. Sanji's transformation was so good, Page One looks amazing and even in the manga it ended abruptly so this outcome is very likely. As Law said, Page One is an ancient zoan user, and his dino is arguably stronger than X Drake's. So his durability is definitely top notch and would recover very fast, not to mention he already mastered his hybrid form. Tobi Roppo hype! cant wait for another member to be revealed:finally:

The scene with Luffy was to show Kidd getting away during the night.
