Not to say he almost died to protect Luffy and was the one to snap him out of his depression after Ace's death by making realize he still has his crew.
I completely understand people saying Jinbe doesn't fit because he's too experienced or whatever. But lack of build up ain't it
This is probably me reading WAY too into things, but, I have King, Shiryu, and Magellan all around each other's level, based off of feats/powerscaling, and... well, they all dress like the baddies, don't they? Especially King, King's outfit is so crazy it doesn't even look perverted.

I personally don’t want Yamato in the crew. I rather take Carrot. Now, if both of them join, then I’m okay with that too. What would her role even be? What are her goals in life? T
