It's early Viz and they have a new and better translator who also called it the '2nd.' It's the literal translation from the Japanese version.

Call it wishful thinking if you want, but even though Wano's been badly paced the writing hasn't been so bad that I'd expect him to drop the ball on a new Strawhat this hard. I understand that he's not perfect, but I have at least some faith in Oda as a writer
