I guess Jinbei being here is shock to many, i never really expected him to die, knew SHs would need Jinbei here to fend of Beasts pirates, this arc will also possibly solidify SHs as perfect Yonkou crew by post Wano arc.
Luffy having reached Top tier lvl, and Zoro, Sanji n Jinbei all beating the YCs.

Plus Jack is a fishmen, so he is prfect matchup for you know Jinbei.

That's absurd and that is exactly what seems like is going to happen. That's how Oda is writing BM. She is the one Yonko everyone laughs at.

Have you forgotten that Big Mom is far from being the first top fighter or threat to have been escaped in One Piece ?
Have your forgotten the supernovas all escaped death or capture at Saobody despite Kizaru's presence, that the Buster Call failed to kill even a single guy of the Franky Family at Enies Lobby despite it having been presented as the stuff of nightmares by Robin, that the Hapoo Navy escaped Garp despite him having crushed their captain, that Morgan was able of axing and escaping Garp, that Bentham allowed all his comrades to escape Impel Down and that Magellan still couldn't kill him despite it being presented as the great sacrifice or that Aokiji and Kizaru were unable to prevent Law's submarine from escaping MF ?

People can laugh at Big Mom this will never take away the fact that she's still a yonko and in the same power class than the others, nor that the alliance as it is right now still can't take on two yonkos at the same time.

Hardly anyone actually cared for him. His death was utterly emotionless and meaningless to most readers.

I still think that Katakuri actually set Jinbei & Co. free (we saw how he asked Luffy to defeat BM in the end), but if we get another lackluster explanation aka "Hey guys, I just successfully escaped!" this makes WCI so much worse.

At this point I actually don't even care how Oda treats BM or Kaido. I just don't feel any sense of danger and that ladies and gentlemen is just "bad writing" in terms of developing the villains.

Let's take Togashi again (just one example). He knows how to build his villains and develop them. Introduced the chimera ants and showed them murdering innocent civilians, even kids. Depicted Pitou murdering Kite in cold blood right at the start. That's how you set the tone for an arc and its villains. Not to mention the utter brilliance of Meruem's character development afterwards.

We're standing here and nobody even takes the villains seriously. In a way Akainu is the most intimidating foe right now and even he doesn't ooze terror.

Watch the other part of the spoilers I posted come true next week and Kata being there with Jinbei. Then the whole BMP part of the current arc will just be the "Katas" fighting the "Perosperos" over who gets to lead the Crew. We all know it will come to that given that argument about the captain position anyway.

He betrayed her, fought against her, helped the SH's escape, punched her so hard and knocked her off the ship. They stole Zeus, tarnished her reputation. And because of the cake she just let him go, because?

The same reason she let Pedro leave. It's an eye for an eye.

She takes the man's life span and that's a good enough trade off for everything else

Jinbe doesn't deserve to be reasoned with. Any smart person in Big Mom's shoes would give him the death penalty lol.

If she did take his lifespan instead of killing him, I expect it to be explained by her imprisoning him and coming up with a certain plan or explanation that justified why she didn't just kill him.

I don't like what is happening to her but I didn't like what happened with the Buster Call at Enies Lobby, with the supernovas being all able to escape Kizaru and the marines at Saobody and with Magellan at Impel Down either.
And I am still pretty sure that it's not the arc when her story will end and that she'll have her return to Elbaf. Plus given all the twists he has made with her I feel that Oda will rather have her return to her old nicer personnality or her being separated from Kaido than being defeated in Wano arc.

I'm sorry, didn't want to hurt your feelings. I will just tell it how it is though.
I love reading OP, but in terms of pure writing quality (only looking at the story and character development) any neutral manga fan will tell you that HxH is right at the top with Jojo and Berserk.
OP is amazing for a "mainstream manga" and dwarfs the likes of Naruto etc., but it's not better than those three.

Nah, Jinbe is better fighting Smoothie. She can drain liquids and shit, Jinbe can simply stuff her with massive amounts of sea water until she gets massive size boost and can't move then deliver a Vagabond Drill straight to her thick ass lol. besides, the Dukes have unfinished business with Jack, sulong can make up for their lost limbs.
