No this is a very realistic scenario. Mihawk holds Shanks in high regard. It wouldn't make any sense for Zoro vs Shanks not to happen, when Mihawk is waiting for somebody stronger than Shanks to emerge.

Not to mention, Zoro has to fight his goal's rival to see where he stands now.

Last year, Power Level Youtubers said that Zoro 1010 was admiral level. OP pages on Instagram said that Zoro was Wano's MVP. If that's not overestimating a character then I don't know what to think.

so Sanji doesnt need COC to be near their level and managed to hold off king and queen with a raid suit and not an exoskeleton power up sounds amazing to me. People saw Zoro fought Fuji in Dressrosa and then become strong enough to scar Kaido.

Beyond that point feats changed and it was more downplaying Admirals and not overrating Zoro.

People placed an admiral between Yonko and Yonko commander, some even placed them on Marco level.
Zoro was Wano MVP up until chapter 1052

He's done more shit until Luffy ended Wano

Literally everyone and their mothers were calling Zoro wano MVP because of him destroying Supernovas, Doing shit on roof top, Scarring Kaido, learning AdvCoC, stomping King in 1035.
