If Oda wrote a One Piece Spinoff, what would be the best spinoff series?

The serious tone should be reserved for important moments and where it fits.
Keep the story serious at all times and it becomes boring and inflationary and eventually loses its impact.
Legend of Korra is a good example of this.
In the Last Airbender series, the creators only wrote core episodes, such as the season finales.
In Korra season 1 they write every episode.
Korra took itself too seriously at times for sure, but the writing was also pretty poor throughout, and it shows considering one of the core writers of Airbender wasn't on the project at all if I remember correctly, and a lot of the best episodes came from him. Honestly it's mostly a matter of execution and very often shows drop the ball once they reach their finale for some reason
