Momo tells Yamato to stay out of this means that he wants to show that he can be a great shogun of Wano, that he can deal with his own problem using his own method. He doesn’t need to be babysitted all the time especially since he has Kaido’s copy DF. He can protect his own country, and he won’t run away or cry like he used to. That’s a character development.
On the other hand Yamato will have bounty on her head, as she attacks an admiral + she is Kaido’s offspring. Having her head as bounty will surely endanger Wano, and the only way to “protect” Wano is surely by leaving Wano. It happened with Franky, anyway. Akainu also said to Ryokugyu not to do anything reckless, because of the events in Levely.
Those events made people around the world look at Sabo as a hero because of Tenryuubito’s tyranny. It’s logical to think that Akainu doesn’t want to make things worse with more people distrusting WG.

To be fair the “no one is joining” argument sounds definitely off. They postponed Jinbe’s welcome toast for a reason. There is no way the toast is offscreened. It’s like when they toasted to welcome back Usopp, while at the same time welcoming Franky; as the title of the chapter says. Robin’s official toast is together with it since she never had one
