After rereading the spoils....ive realised one thing.

It never said Aramaki gives up on going after Luffy. It says "Aramaki gives up". Which could mean a multitude of things....most likely implying him just ditching Momo and the scabbards after sensing Shanks.

At first I thought the spoilers were just misinterpreting a vague manga chapter. But the spoilers themselves are vague as heck.

This could chapter could very well show Aramaki leaving Momo and Co., but not hinting at him leaving or running away from the Island at all. He could go after Luffy or Shanks.

Meaning Ryou got unjustifiably shat on for no reason.

lol Giving up meant giving up . Going after shanks or luffy? WTF. He himself said that he wouldn't come if kaido is still around. He retreated from a fight who is not even tobiroppo lvl dude after seeing shanks. I could say keep akainu or kizaru here. GB also didn't think they recovered (as we see this from king ,queen and scabbards, Also he mentions in the chapterwith king and queen "As expected you guys were..") otherwise who would go contend with alliance who defeated two yonkos and a yonko crew. That would be asking for "just stomp me down". Yes he may retreat now but he may also come back if shanks went. but if he see luffy and others already got recovered then he will definetly retreat.

The original spoilers were deleted. The confirmed spoilers says: “ Aramaki gives up after feeling Shanks’ CoC and the realization that Red Hair Pirates is nearby”.
