It's impossible to tell where Mihawk and Shanks stand unless they fight again, his title comes from his reputation of being undefeated against the swordsmen he challenged but he specifically refuses to fight Shanks (inconclusive duels) after the loss of his arm, WSS isn't a video game achievement that gets updated whenever a stronger swordsman exists but the reputation of man known for his giant sword and his victorious streak.
They may just be reputations in the story but they're also titles Oda specifically assigned to these characters with a purpose. He gave WSC title to Kaido and made sure that he lives up to his hype. He called WB the WSM but still withholds his hype to this day. Why would Mihawk be any different? Shanks isn't just a random guy who happened to carry a sword around. He was raised by two high-class swordsmen i.e., Roger and Rayleigh, and he's also the biggest rival of Mihawk. Mihawk has little interest in non-swordsmen; why would he bother having a rivalry with Shanks if he isn't a swordsman? It makes no sense.

I can see why people feel Shanks shouldn't be weaker than Mihawk, but most reasons they use to dismiss Mihawk's claim as the WSS are invalid just like the Hakiman argument. They just use whatever dumb loophole they could come up with to say Mihawk isn't as strong as he is because they hate the guy.

Mihawk wouldn't be recognized as the WSM if there are other swordsmen who surpass his infamy. Shanks, in particular, isn't living under a rock. He's one of the most famous swordsmen in the world. And everyone their moms knows about Mihawk's rivalry with Shanks—It's literally a legend in OP world as noted by WB of all things. So if people call Mihawk the WSM, it could only mean one of two things i.e., either the world accepts that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks or Shanks is somehow not a swordsman. There is ample evidence suggesting Shanks is a swordsman while there are little to no implications of him not being one.

Why did Jack even decide to go underwater to begin with when he knows he can't swim? My guess is that Kaido knew that the ancient weapon is located somewhere in Wano and ordered Jack to start searching in the water. :choppawhat:

You should be putting your stocks in them they aint scared of shanks or akainu, aka the guy who’s haki scared your avy and a guy who you massively wank
The same vivre that said Zoro was going to kill a oni? The same vivre that said vista swordsmenship is on par with mihawk
1. Stated he was on an oni killing mission

2. Stated his swordsmanship was able to keep mihawk busy

Deathbed and still stronger than anyone alive.
No he isn't. He earned the WSM and WSP title in his prime time, so obviously it won't be stripped of him unless he officially loses it. Hence Whitebeard in Marineford saying he cannot be the strongest forever.

Shanks for example clashed with a version of oldbeard on meds, healthy enough to still use sky splitter Haoshoku. Unlike the MF version of Whitebeard, who couldn't use CoO, couldn't use CoC and was called a pathetic weakling by Crocodile, with Marco agreeing that Whitebeard's condition is worse than expected.

Admiral Stans should stop hyping Deathbed Whitebeard to indirectly make a case for admirals. Shanks or Kaido would've washed MF Whitebeard, who was so sick he collapsed from a heart attack within an hour or so. You think a man that can barely use Hakis and gets heart attacks from exerting himself too much is stronger than a Yonko at his prime?

Kaido has connections with the Kurozumi elders, so he probably learned the secrets from them. He probably also knows Pluton is somewhere within Wano, which is why he chose Wano as his stronghold.

Damn the amount of facts that you spit is incredible. Precise and clear

"Red Hair pirates"
"you guys"

Notice how Aramaki never addressed only Shanks. He only gave up because Shanks can only fight Admirals with his whole crew helping him and ganging up on Aramaki.
Even Aramaki says he's not ready to fight them...yet. Which means he will get stronger than Shanks and his whole crew soon.

Yeah, they are endgame villains
greenbull is like kizaru when it comes to dealing with things, I'm enjoying him
