Anyway, Momo never "almost killed" GB.
The hole in tree's stomach is irrelevant, it didn't do any real damage to GB. After that attack, GB isn't even bleeding. So the beam who pierced tree's stomach never affected GB's real body.

But Admiral seems to be more competent because they have discipline,training,strategies,tatics and support from the finest war machine on the OP verse.
Momonosuke has a point.Who is going to protect Wano now?Luffy will go after the one piece,Yamato and the scabbards are not strong enough to deal with the admirals.Maybe Wano could hire Kidd and Law to stay there for a couple of years,who knows.But i doubt,they would accept.Wano is defenseless without Kaido.
Maybe Luffy should call the grand fleet to stay in Wano while he goes hunting for the One Piece.But i don't think those guys can fight an admiral.
