You're not paying attention if you think they gave Buggy a Yonko status just because he's putting bounties on their heads. The fact that having an alliance with Mihawk gives you Yonko status while Luffy and others have to fight their butts off and defeat Yonko to get the same proves Mihawk's been a Yonko-level candidate all along.

I think Yamato will join the crew just like Oden has joined Whitebeard's crew.
100% Oda will make some kind of parallel, like luffy refusing then Yamato will grab into the sunny or something.
Because, ultimately, Luffy has to keep Ace's promise to Yamato in his place.

He needed to be at deaths door for Akainu's df to take any effect. Understandable, admirals are always used to fraudulent methods at taking out characters, wouldn't surprise me if the WG backed Akainu's win against Aokiji too.

You become one, when you have Mihawk; its that simple. If Mihawk is respected on the same level of people like WB and Shanks, that illustrates he has the capacity to be a yonko himself. Croc and Mr.1 is irrelevant but having more firepower and influence doesnt hurt. their power level would probably equate to being YC1/+ on a yonko crew.
