I was right again I wrote before the 1 month break that GB will never meet luffy cause someone will interrupt him and stop him. Cause the best cliffhanger for a 1 month break would be if GB stand before the alliance (like for luffy) then the chapter end but oda let GB walk so it was for me obvious that they not gonna meet

Lack of patience for dumb people
I'm not gonna pick a fight with you, but in the off chance that you actually want to have a conversation I will try to respond.

You're assuming there's a whole history of guardian deity devil fruits and the lands they're assigned to and a history of the people who eat those fruits being obligated to fulfill that role. Given Chaka's example it's certainly plausible.

However, none of this has ever been verified in the story. Specifically that obligation has only been mentioned by Kaido, and immediately rejected by Yamato. Furthermore, as if to rule it out further Momo specifically requests that Yamato not fight Greenbull so that he won't have to depend on her.

Unfortunately Oda's world is not deeply consistent enough for us to assume there's much more to the story than what he's told us. It's likely that he himself hasn't thought about it too much. He certainly has told us nothing else about these guardian deities. I suspect he only intended to bring it up in connection with Kaido's parenting expectations, as I mentioned before.

I just don't see the point of hanging onto this idea when it's mostly imagination, even if it's plausible, when there's nothing in the story that will allow us to verify it, especially when it's being overridden by recent events. Why waste time arguing about whether or not Yamato will become the guardian deity of Wano when it's going to become apparent in the next couple of weeks?

Wtf

you people act like Oda doesn’t do this all the time lmao. Are people on worstgen oblivious to how he’s worked for… ever??
The oda haters Crack me up the most, everyone gets mad when the story doesn't go the way they want it to or when some insignificant character doesn't get a new bounty reveal each and every week.

I actually enjoy odas work. One piece was the first anime I've found interesting enough to get me to read the manga. You guys are so caught up in your expectations for individual characters that you fail to enjoy the overall story. I mean I'm occasionally let down as well, for instance I would have liked to have at least gotten some more zoro information in wano but I'm not going to let my expectations ruin what has become my favorite story. As long as oda doesn't completely bomb the ending I'll be happy.

Dude I don't think you understand that Yamato eating the guardian deity fruit was a choice made by the author
Arguing in-universe logic over this kind of thing is silly

This is actually my point. The author has given us no information with which to make in-universe logical deductions about this topic. Talking about it is pointless.
