Well, if the attacks aren't that effective they aren't effective, period. Oda can't pronounce the attacks that are actually properly working on Kaido ineffective just because Luffy's gonna have more time with Kaido. They were said to be ineffective only because they're ineffective. Zoro's attacks were stronger is the only argument I am making here. I am not saying Zoro was stronger than Luffy.

And as I said, luffys 1000 random attacks against zoro's ultimate moves at the time isn't a fair comparison. We would have to compare King Kong gun to zoro's Asura for that to be a fair comparison. And even after Zoro did those attacks, kaido was still standing with plenty more left to give. That is also the case for luffy too I guess.

Also, if you want Kaido's vocal/visible recognition, just look at the first attack luffy landed. RedRoc shook Kaido to the point he was comparing luffy to top tiers.

Partially the reason for Zoro not being on WCI is Sanji but not as per them losing character panel time.

If Zoro was on WCI Luffy would have to fight Big Mom where Zoro and Sanji would fight Katakuri and Smoothie, which would be problematic especially because of Sanji's moral code, unless Smoothie is a trannie then he'd go Hell's Memories

But also, I think Zoro would not like the way they treat Sanji and he would attack them/fight them on the first better occasion.


I'm really, really surprised Luffy didn't storm into Vinsmokes base and fuck them up for treating Sanji like shit tbh. I don't understand why it didn't happen.

Yes, because Kaidou is many times serious while fighting Luffy than he was in rooftop battle. It is clear and hence Luffy was able to toe to toe in base/g2/g3 for sometime and Kaidou became even more serious and went toe to toe against G4 Luffy.
