Sanji awakened a gene modification and full on body exoskeleton out of nowhere, and for some reason his ugprades are WAY more impressive and effective than the Vinsmoke brothers

It's because Sanji was already strong without it. His siblings always had them and could always rely on them. It makes sense that he is a level above his siblings when he awakened them.

And as I said, luffys 1000 random attacks against zoro's ultimate moves at the time isn't a fair comparison. We would have to compare King Kong gun to zoro's Asura for that to be a fair comparison. And even after Zoro did those attacks, kaido was still standing with plenty more left to give. That is also the case for luffy too I guess.

Also, if you want Kaido's vocal/visible recognition, just look at the first attack luffy landed. RedRoc shook Kaido to the point he was comparing luffy to top tiers.

As I said, Luffy used every single high-end move on Kaido. OKG didn't receive nearly as much hype as Asura Dead Man's Game, so yeah Zoro had Luffy beat in that regard as well.

I honestly like the way oda executed it. Time travel in fiction gets messy most of the time.

I'd argue that it's good it wasn't. Time travel causes a cluster fuck mess of issues if you don't understand it. I'm glad it was simple and only used to advance the Wano plight 20 years. It could have been far worse.

Law has the Zou Poneglyph and Wano Poneglyph
Kid likely has the WCI Poneglyph and Wano Poneglyph

I would have had the same problem if this was Luffy in his shoe...
You have to work for the stuff you get... despite me seeing his role in Wano was soooo weak compared to Law or Luffy... But I let it pass if he was handed ONLY the Wano copy by his own rival who was not asked by Kid for it

BUT giving him the copies for Zou arc or WCI arc is totally undeserved... If this was Luffy I would say the same

I'm saying the same shit about Law if he got the WCI copy too cause he was not part of it
