Mihawk's epithet of clairvoyant, which is related to future sidght while Shanks title 12 years ago is that of "killer of color of observation haki, who doesn't let opponents see through future".
Mihawk had duels with Shanks 12 years ago when Shanks bounty was around 1 billion. Assuming powerlevel as per bounty than it is related to YC.
Shanks is now a Yonko with bounty of 4 billion berries. While recently Mihawk became YC. Level similar to that of his rival 12 years ago.
Mihawk's next possible opponent is Zoro who's also a YC.
Oda : Both Mihawk and Shanks is equal but let's destroy Mihawk fame by every possible means and hype up Shanks as much as possible by better feats and portrayal. Lol

No doubt both are improving but one is getting too high in either status or position while other is remaining old status (first rivalry years ago with YC and on equal level while now being on YC level) but hey he also has the backing of title.

OG Warlords were written as stagnated pirates who lost their ambitions or wills to get stronger :
Mihawk lost his rivalry with Shanks so he stelled to just roam the seas and attack weaklings.
He barely reach top tier status as WSS. He's low top tier or solid top tuer but not above admirals.
Doffy stagnated too. Stop caring about PK race he normal way, wanted to cheat his way quick
Croco and Moriah lost to Kaido and wB then ran away to settle in paradise. That's why they were weak in their arcs since they lost ambitions.

Reality is that we don't know who is strongest but using shanks and his bounty as a mean to shit on Mihawk is childish.
If shanks had that ability 12 years ago, this hypes the guy that fought him as his equal as well and argument about bounty doesn't stand.
Shanks was probably the strongest Yonko yet he had the lowest bounty and he was hyping BB, a guy with no bounty at all.

i mean if u are really taking the movie as canon then u gotta take in shanks as a ' swords master '.
I hope people to understand that every sword has an element/special ability and stop magic sword bs just to shit on zoro.
We saw guys using elements pts, brook and kin ats and finally the next sword God using the element of underworld ???
I don't even know what this green aura does though.
