Unless you wanna argue Mihawk-Shanks rivalry is more relevant to Mihawk+Zoro plotline instead of Shanks himself.

Yep.
He asked Mihawk to train him in the Way of the Sword and he came out of the Timeskip with zero new Swordsmanship moves but Haki.

The only thing you can say about his upgrades in "Swordsmanship" is Firefox Style & Clear Lance, but those are situational techniques at best. His entire Post TS journey/upgrades have been either mastering new Swords or new forms of Haki.

No I'm saying that if Oda included such scenes, he would have to confirm/portray the Rivalry whereas Oda likes to keep thinks ambiguous to the end and not explicitly confirm how he views stuff.
