What exactly is he wrong about? Soru was deemed useless the moment Zoro was fast enough to casually react to it while also having ranged making geppo useless lol. Going foward those rokoushiki moves will only be powerful the more powerful the person using them actually is.

king's speed is a myth, he doesn't have any great feats and someone like zoro who isn't known for speed managed to handle everything from king... people fool themselves into thinking that by exchanging his flame for speed, he will have an unusual speed, when it's not true.

King being super fast is headcanon when his best feats are against zoro whose CoO sucks and speed inferior to Speedsters.
