Everything Sasuke does is pretty well established in the manga. Even wanting to be hated by the shinobi world is emulating what he saw Itachi do.

Sasuke is a well written character who makes sense.

Yes he is well stablished...as an angsty moron that acts purely on "who I need to kill now" for most of the series. And him emulating Itachi is proof of that since he came to that plan after 1 conversation with the dead kages iirc and its stupid since Itachi's "plan" required fucking genocide and the guy that wanted that anyway ended up as a damn kage, not to mention how Itachi being a good guy was stupid in the first place:jay-yeah:
