I already miss Law chilling with the rest of the crew
I wouldn't knock a surprise joining from Yamato either as she does have a good foundation as a crewmate as well as room for development.
I could roll with a Marine like Koby or Smoker as well for a unique scenerio.

God, I hope not. First one of them sneaking on the ship AGAIN would be such a lame repetitive thing and second I admit that I would be pissed so hard if Carrot or Caribou would suddenly join out of nowhere after being basically non-existent in the whole Wano arc while Yamato was shown all the time and even had a flashback story with Ace. There´s a limit about how much audience appreciates to be fooled.
What’s left to defend?? Yamato could have been an incredible addition to the crew if a) she dropped the Oden shtick, and b) the author wasn’t a disingenuous dickhead who prefers cheap “shock value” and running gags over actual character development, but since neither of those things are true at this point, I don’t feel like I need to keep fighting a losing battle with this shit.
