Narratively it wouldn't make sence to hide Carrot too much. This type of revelation - in One Piece - happens in the transition, at the moment of calm and when the new arc begins. That gives us one chapter left (if we see the strawhats) as there will be nothing to add. That's our last chance. But it still there.
