I can't read japanese so the way I see it is this:
1- If WSS is a true translation then Mihawk is the strongest swordsman regardless of your skill lvl (Kengo, Dai Kengo, etc...). Meaning he's stronger than Shanks and all other swordsmen like Vista, Shiryu, etc...
2- If WGS is a true translation then Mihawk wields the best swordsmanship in the world. It's not a title related to strength. He could be the weakest swordsman ever as far as we know but still has the best swordsmanship in the world.
3- If WSDK(World strongest Dai Kego) is the true translation then Mihawk is only the strongest amongst the Great Swordsmasters/Dai Kengos in the world.

Mihawk is both the great master swordsman and the world's strongest, so Zoro'd achieve both by beating Mihawk.
. The thing about Zoro's dream is, that he needs to beat Mihawk in a fight to achieve his dream. So for Zoro being the greatest swordmaster means beating Mihawk, the man known as the strongest swordsman in the world. So everything about him needs to be legit for Zoro's dream to be legit too. And you must be living under the rock if you think this is the only argument the Mihawk side has. It's one of many arguments used to get the point across because some people are too blinded by hate to see the truth. So once again, congrats on proving nothing.

That's not proof, that's a hypothetical.
It's not debatable who's stronger between WB and Garp. Whitebeard was repeatedly called the strongest on MF by Marines who knew him in his prime whilst Garp was right there, including Sengoku who fought alongside Garp against Shiki. WB did not have the title of WSM when Garp/Roger beat Rocks, that came later. WB being WSM was absolute, there was no one above him. Even Roger once he got his title of Pirate King would've lost to WB due to illness.
King telling his daddy Kaido that he's the strongest is not the same as having a World's Strongest title lool. King can say whatever he wants. None of this is proof or even solid evidence towards indicating Mihawk's title is fraudulent. Mihawk's title which is constantly reiterated time and time again, and now backed up by a Yonko-level bounty and the opportunity to hold the same title as Shanks, which he refused because he preferred peace.
Word of advice, it's difficult to argue Shanks > Mihawk anymore. At best, Shanks can be equal to Mihawk and they can be the WB/Roger of this generation.
