While it may not have been the most effective course of action, I can understand the need to try and eliminate Mihawk as well as the rest of the Warlords as a priority. The Marines and the government are trying to maintain control of the geopolitical landscape ahead of time. The Warlords being stripped of their titles makes them radical wildcards in the changing era. Wildcards that could bite back at them.
True but it's really hard for me to overlook Logia intangibility especially its relationship with Fuji's gravity based attacks.
From all the attacks Fuji has shown, meteors ignored, raging tiger ignored, dropping rubble ignored, Logias take no damage. Obviously Fuji can force away any attack that comes his way as well but if something manages to land he does take damage. You can claim that's a matchup thing but how many matchup disadvantages do top tier logias have? It'll be interesting to see how Oda deals with incorporating haki into gravity.
His fruit is definitely S tier up there with the Gura easily, just like the gura it's the most overwhelming force. But even the Gura lacks the complete package that the top tier logias provide.
