He can only cancel DF if he’s touching the person
we need to see how he caught her, if he caught while she was performing an attack and snuck around to get her shes definitely a threat. If he blitzed her then I’d concede
Again, he doesn't need to touch the person to cancel out df abilities, especially ranged ones like Boa's arrows which are the actual dangerous ones which turn people to stone.
He has BlackHole, Liberation & the final gigantic BlackHole he used against Entei - all of which absorbed/cancel DF abilties.
This isn't even talking about the Gura, which is a separate class in and of itself in terms of ranged abilities.
Blackbeard damn near destroyed Marco and is an Emperor level pirate with a bounty of 4 Billion... there's no reason to think he'd struggle against Hancock especially when the portrayal in the canon speaks otherwise.
Especially when 99% of Hancock's wank is based on a single misconstrued Dialogue
This is the entire exchange:
Teach tells Hancock that he has been patiently waiting to get her powers. Hancock tells him that her powers are build upon her own beauty. If Teach kills her, those who have turned into stone will remain in that state. Even the next user of the Mero Mero no Mi will not be able to reverse it. Koby says that Hancock is a problem bigger than he expected.
Teach: "This situation looks like it's not going anywhere, right "Hero” Koby!! You did me a favor in the Rocky Port incident. Thanks to you I was able to defeat “Ouchoku/Wang Zhi" and become the boss of the "Pirate Island"!!"
Koby: "...!!"
Teach: "Do you really think if I let her go... she's going to be nice and turn everyone back to normal?"
Koby: "If she doesn't turn the soldiers back to normal... It will be a big problem. Hah... Hah..."
Hancock: "I will do it if you all leave the island...!! Ugh."
Teach squeezes Hancock's neck tighter.
Teach: "And... that is a lie!! The moment I let you go, you will turn us into stone. And that will be our end, right? To be honest, I think there's no way a man can't be affected by your powers. It's a difficult situation... So I think I should just kill you."
He is clearly talking about how Hancock will betray and attack him instead of freeing his Nakama when he trusts and releases her to do so.
we need to see how he caught her, if he caught while she was performing an attack and snuck around to get her shes definitely a threat. If he blitzed her then I’d concede
Why does that matter?
BM caught Marco while he was in the middle of a conversation.
That still does not change the portrayal between the two characters.
Hancock's ability is dangerous, but other than that, I virtually see no difference between the two encounters.
