None of their abilities are as good as the originals. Kid Mihawk, for instance, can't cut as well as Mihawk. He can't shoot lasers as great as Kizaru. So we don't have any reasons to believe their defense would be as good as a Lunarian in the first place.

Swordsmanship is dependant on experience and training. They dont have Mihawk's training.

Lazers are dependant on the actual DF and seeing how far you can go with it.

In both these cases Vegapunk didnt have Mihawk's sword training and experience. Nor did he ever replicate the Pika Fruit like he did Kaido's fruit. And we know how perfect Momo's fruit is. It was good enough to manipulate Kaido's own flame clouds.

Vegapunk stole King's genes and DNA. Thats more than enough for full on Lunarian Defence because thats where King got it from. If Lunarian defence was based on a DF or Training...sure yall would have a point. But it doesnt....its based on genetics.

Lunarian defence is a fodder defence when everyone becomes Top Tiers. These SSG will be like Numbers and get oneshotted. If they end getting defeated by Low Trio/Mid Trio I pray for King fans.

How do you know Lunarian defence isn't based on Training ?
you are saying a Lunarian 5 years old has the same defence as King ? also we are shown King having improved his flame bending skills because he can use Magma-like Fire and we know for a fact that King defense is based on his flame.

They seemingly took data from Mihawk and Kizaru too. If they can't perfect their abilities to the fullest, then we have little reason to believe they can do it to Lunarians.

They having Lunarian stuff doesn't mean their defense would be equal to King's defence.

We only know that all of Hancock's subordinates couldn't put a scratch on them. But all of these people are basically fodder, below Amazon Lily G2 Luffy.
Let's assume Boa sisters got as strong as EoPreTS Luffy, stronger (not much) than a previous model of Pacifistas = still fodder.

So, still early to assume they have King's defence lvl.

Where does it state it is based on training. We know swordsmanship and DF is based on training.....not natural genetic defence. Did Sanji have to train his Exoskeleton when he got it ? Nope.

And how do we know they didn't take their data properly? I can understand Mihawk, but I don't see why Kizaru wouldn't cooperate with them. King escaped in the middle of the experiment, which is why he is still wanted. So they didn't know everything about him either.
