Seriously though, like Memepiece, Piratefolk is getting much worse now the sub is rapidly growing and mods are getting lazier or giving up.

Almost feels like deliberate sabotage somehow given the main sub and memepiece are obsessed with them too. Sending trolls to ruin the sub lol.

On the other hand, cynical attitudes and degeneracy seem to go hand in hand. Also cynicism and feeling intellectually superior to others like a certain user or two here at least.

It's Reddit. The entire point of that site is for whiny concern trolls to ruin smaller subs they dislike. They're the same kind of people who make up lies about their neighbors just because they don't like their race, nationality, gender, sexuality, etc. It's better when you think of Reddit as a quarantine zone for people who don't want to hear any opinion that challenges their own.
