Roger is nr1/2 of the verse and he is a swordsman. Those are facts.

All you have are a thousand headcanons how to disprove Roger the nr1/2 of the verse who happens to be a swordsman as the strongest swordsman and not a single one of them is helping you because you cant disprove the obvious. More luck next try.

There are some parallels between Mihawk and Rayleigh. For example Rayleigh having the same clothing as Mihawk. It's also not far fetched that Mihawk is Rayleigh's son. But there are no parallels between Mihawk and Roger. The PK seat is a level above the WSS seat according to Mihawk himself. He separates himself from Roger. The WSS title would encompass too many characters, since almost all top tiers make use of a blade. But as Luffy said, a PKs right hand man could accomplish at least as much as becoming the WSS. And you think Zoro is going end up surpassing Roger strength wise? I don't believe that.

I agree... to an extent, for the following reasons.

A.) Usopp when told about the Poneglph rubbings mentioned that they could sneak into Big Mom territory get the rubbing and sail off without having to combat anyone and become PK

B.) Similarly Buggy mentioned he could become PK without lifting a finger and just having others do the work for him

C.) Moria’s whole quote for his dream is “Hurry up and make me PK” meaning using his Shadows he/himself doesn’t need a powerboost just use Zombies

D.) Roger became PK while dying and decreasing in strength (Roger was not in his prime when he became PK)

Sso imo your definition of WSS doesn't suit Oda's depiction of what WSS is, since Roger being on par with WB and even using sword (and being a swordsman), doesn't grant him WSS title anywhere in the manga.

That being said, imo this imply that Oda's definition of WSS is closer to real life situation, where you can be stronger than a WSS if you're a weaker swordsman, but with powers other than being a swordsman, that enable you to surpass the WSS.

Dont be upset. Both Shanks and Roger are irrelevant anyway. Roger being WSS changes nothing, he is a dead man anyway.

When you realise Roger wasnt WSM and wss despite being the strongest tied with WB, Shiki was slightly below.

Shanks equalled Posthawk yet only Posthawk is WSS.

Being WSS is about sword skill, how great you cut or fight with a sword as a swordman.

Being WSM is about legacy (piracy life) that's why nobody has received WSM title depsite whatever and none will, cause no pirate has surpassed WB piracy legacy.

Being WSC is about being 1 v1 king and unkillable,

You can beat Kaido or WB 1 v1 and not be called WSM/WSC

You need to surpass their piracy accomplishments: kaido in durability and 1 v 1 , WB in legacy

@Rukusho I nevertheless think, that the PK inevitably ends up as the strongest, with no one above him. At most having a rival that parallels him (like Whitebeard, tho it was a sick Roger that was paralleled to a healthy Whitebeard). Luffy will also end up as the strongest. He himself said that if he wants to become the PK, he needs to surpass both Yonkos and admirals. With Chinjao also saying whether Luffy thinks he will surpass both the admirals and Yonkos. Luffy also told Katakuri that he will come back and beat Big Mom, for he will become the PK.

So while you can technically become the PK without strength, I think you will be the strongest anyways, since you have to become the king of the seas which are under the control of the Yonkos.

Especially in his hybrid form, which further boosts his AP. Let alone when using both arms. But at the same time, Kaido has a much higher chance surviving top tier blows than the other way around. Hence you should bet on Kaido.

I would like that but I'm ok with Zoro fighting Mihawk after a solid growth since he is the better man and also the one portrayed as Zoro's end goal for a reason. After all why would Zoro indicate Mihawk as his goal and not Shanks had Shanks been the stronger man lol.
