A person's Haki level isn't determined by their choice of weapon or fighting style. Haki mostly depends on their potential. And the reason why most swordsmen are high-level Haki users is that they prefer not eating a devil's fruit while most hand-to-hand combat users opt for a devil's fruit. The only exception to this rule is Garp and he's as good at Haki as any other non-DF user.
A person fist is naturally not going to be as lethal as a weapon. A kaido punching with his fist is going to be less impact full than a kaido swinging a club why? Because the club is naturally more lethal.
It's why all to tiers in the entire verse use weaponry. It's not that they cut fight without it. It's that having a weapon increases lethality and potentcy naturally.
Rayleigh
Roger
Kaido
Bigmom
Mihawk
Shanks
Oden
Whitebeard
ALL USE WEAPONS!!!!!! why? Because they can coat their fruit ability and haki onto an object more lethal than just their fists

So what are you arguing for?
My point was to prove you can't class Whitebeard as a swordsman because he uses a bladed weapon therefore you can't say Mihawk > Whitebeard because derp strongest swordsman.
You seem to be trying to argue for the sake of arguing with this point.
