I also don't understand why people say BB is coward when most of his actions show otherwise.
He infiltrated ID and then MF where we had all the Admirals, Fleet Admirals, WB and his crew and alliance
He took over WB territories and wiped WB crew while other yonkous were just sitting idle
He attacked Revolutionary base without second thought
Yes he backed away from Akainu but that's not because he is coward but more like he isn't fool to pick a fight with strongest admiral when there is nothing much to gain.
Same thing with Rayleigh and Hancock.
And, ya he uses underhand tactics like against WB but he is a pirate. Why people expect him to play fair and act like saint when he is all about getting things done by hook or crook

He isn't someone who would sacrifice his heavy weights unnecessary. He doesn't care about fodders but people have to remember he became a warlord for the sole reason so he could recruit criminals from level 6 into his crew to strengthen it.

And now fighting rayleigh in the situation he was in - according to rayleugh it was favorable to them. Two of his titanic captains turned to stone, he wont lose them just to steal one devil fruit, not worth it, considering one of them is a df user so what's the point to sacrifice unnecessary only to start that process all over again.
Doesn't matter if he's cowardly. Still tho hopefully Koby's capture leads to some advantage for him, otherwise that's meaningless.
