It wasn’t necessary but it makes sense. Now we know why Lendard became Ziggy's new base. I think the true enemy hides here since the downfall of Lendard. Elsie's flashback will be important. It’s also a callback to FT because Irene was the "mother of all Dragon Slayers"

Is the question who it is. Her father? I don't think so, maybe one of her siblings? If the true enemy is someone we knew, then I still hope it's Nox, with her time power she could plan this a long time ago without to aging. If it's a new character then it could be another member of Elsies family but I think it's someone who isn't related to her. Still think that Acnoellas downfall was to rushed and I hope she is still alive.

A flashback would be cool. I want to know what happened back then.
And I want to see her whole family and what kind of relationship they had.
