Roles are one of the most relevant pieces of being a SH, it's effectively their function
Oda would probably develop his character to get a role, but that's not even possible because every straw hat has always been portrayed as having a role and exceling at it, hence he was never a serious candidate, much like the zombie tree wasn't.
Could just be the setup for final war sheninagans, she effectively doesn't have a place in the crew unless you count Luffy's onahole as a role or simp or concubine

Well, good point on Nami, but then both Nami and Robin were rescued after they sailed with SH, and the rest of the girls were rescued during the arc they got focus on. I'm not saying Bonney has no chance whatsoever, she actually got Luffy call her by her name and is vibing quite well with SH so far, it's just that she kinda gave me the "princess of the arc" vibe in that chapter, with the island being her home, Kuma being in trouble, etc. Let's see how it goes from there, even though I don't think Bonney will be a next nakama, I'd be fine with her joining:)

No prob! What do you mean about the island being her home? She's not from Egghead. She's from the Sorbet kingdom. And she didn't even ask to be rescued, she asked Luffy not to fight the pacifista. I don't know why everyone is assuming she's going to be a damsel in distress this arc. I still think she's going to kick some ass.
I'm a little pessimistic given Oda's record of not letting the ladies fight, Wank arc was a nice surprise in that regard, with Ulti, Yamato, Robin being quite impressive. I'd love to see Bonney kick some ass!!!
As for the assumption for her shaping to be a princess, I'd say it's more of a gut feeling rather than having a concrete proof in the story. But I love this arc so far and I hope for crazy fun plot twists and revelations, nakama or no nakama.
I'm also genuinely interested in the cover story and wonder about BB's actions & Pudding's role, will she finally unlock her powers? BB needs someone to read poneglyphs for him. But Pudding obviously needs rescue, who will do the honours?

In case Kuzan is confirmed as the 10th Titanic Captain (very unlikely to happen), do you honestly think he would have had a chance (Carrot if he had joined), to defeat Aokiji.
Honestly Carrot would have died immediately, not even with his Sulong would have done anything to a character that is admiral level, with advanced armor and observation hakis and a possibly awakened logia fruit.

And Carrot's fans on Twitter were saying that his Sulong was superior to the Dukes, that franky and usopp would make him a Dragon Ball type machine like Bulma did, that they could alter the weather and time, as always, smoked theories.
And that they are expert analysts of One Piece manga and history, that they are the best and that anyone who does not share the same ideas as them, are not One Piece fans.
Their mental health, their psychosis and their unhealthy obsession for an unimportant character no longer let them reason and use their brains well.
