I can't decide if I think Bonney is nakama material or just the arc princess. On one hand, she's literally the princess of a kingdom who's king was unfairly deposed by some villain. We've heard it a hundred times. On the other hand, we're not in her kingdom, and her goal is revenge, which is completely different from saving a kingdom. She's also not giving out Damsel in Distress vibes since she dealt with the pacifista her own way, she wasn't crying for help. Plus she's a complete goofball who fits right in with the group, and Luffy immediately remembered her name and even got angry for her after knowing her for 5 minutes.
I'm still waiting to see a dream, a role, or at least a flashback before I decide. Imo it could go either way, but she's off to a strong start withonly 4 chapters under her belt.
