Saul surviving is not unexpected. Kuzans style is to freeze his opponents, walk away, and leave the rest to fate. If he didn’t actively try to destroy the frozen bodies of Jozu, Doffy or Cracker, it would be odd for him to do so to his friend. The others all died in the buster call, but Saul being an icicle likely saved him.
I wonr even mind Saul being alive. Everyone else is still dead there.
It's not like present time when not even fodders get killed off, Pound for some bs reason being alive and half dead crossing totland. Thanks to him and Pell people are at any point expecting Monet, Vergo, Pedro, Kaido, BM to appear.

It also further cements the difference in ideologies between Aokiji and Akainu.
Akainu's absolute justice that won't even made him back down from killing someone in his own ranks to Aokiji who is more merciful in merely incapacitating people.
I mean, he is the same dude who went against his orders to have Robin escape too.

And if anything, Saul is a far cry from the Will of P folks.
I can’t help but laugh whenever I read the word certain in this manga
”Certain site“ could be God Valley, it certainly looks like a futuristic land especially if CDs lived there.
Say what you want about Vegapunk's design but he's one of the most interesting characters. More than some admiral/yonko and even Dragon. Beyond his research he's also offering different perspective to the marines.

While Ohara does feel like it in a way, I'd consider it fitting if Robin actually sets up the genuine thing with all the knowledge.
Maybe even in Alabasta itself and entrusts it to Vivi's lineage as a means to get back for assisting Crocodile, cause the value of all this knowledge is worth more than any treasure.
Great chapter
Even tho I hate Saul being still alive, it is easily explained why and how. Still, leaves a sour taste in my mouth a bit
Vegapunk's design is peak.
His interaction with Bonney is peculiar. He's too happy go lucky when meeting the child of the man he turned into a living weapon. I hope Bonney doesn't forgive him too easily just because he's a good guy
That scene where Usopp refused to know the forbidden history was hilarious. He thought he would be protected from being thrown into that pit not knowing that he's already deep into that pit because he is a crewmate of Joyboy.
