This reads to me as if you're used to how your social construction works though. Patriarchy is bad because it has set roles for both women and men, neither have a say in what they want to do in life.

Both parents are equally important. It's best if they are partners in life with same opportunities and own ambitions, and that beats any kind of patriarchal society out of the water.

Absence of a father (or mother ofc) is harmful in every sense, but it does not prove that he has to be "the head" of the family for it to work nicely. That's really outdated thinking. :'(

Not necessarily just both sides, the overall life standards in the country need to go up for this to even be addressed.

Exactly,each gender has their preferences.If there is less female politicians,its not because there is discrimination(not wide espred at least),but because females usually don't dig this kind of enviroment.

women having their own careers allows them to be more independent and a lot of dudes dont like that . They would rather have conditions where a woman needs to be reliant on a male provider.

and dare I say a lot of dudes tie masculinity to being the one being able to provide financially so when a woman can do that to the same extent or even better than most of them can, They feel threatened. Imo thats their fucking problem. only losers are that insecure.

Think its just a difference in physical requirements and men figure they can contribute more in that aspect and women feel that they cant.
