It's more than that, really. TMF used to have a thriving Kingdom community with active threads every day. NF had some decent discussions too.
Kingdom's online fan base has been quiet of late. The closure of TMF, the nature of the current chapter releases and the explosion of reddit seem to have hurt ut.

I don’t appreciate you accusing me of leaving out context to hype Kou En lol, I was giving Seth a brief summary of what happens historically. Which is what I did.
It is you who then left out the context of Kou En’s defeat, mainly that Kou En was not defeated solely by Ousen but also heavily by Moubu who at this point in the manga will be virtually unstoppable, especially given everything else going on at that time which I won’t discuss here.
What’s more likely in Kingdom is that Kou En will ultimately face a 600K army lead by all 6 Qin GGs, but at bare minimum he will be forced to go up against Ousen and Moubu which at EOS will be a pretty unstoppable duo.

Worstgen is probably not the most active place to discuss Kingdom tbh. Reddit or Discord is probably a better and more active place to discuss.
Which is funny cuz seeing the poll of this thread, there's like 123 voters yet we barely have any discussions.
I'm probably won't read spoilers until the chapter where Shibashou appears again or Kanki getting defeated.

Also, the Chu should have - amongst the ones we know for now at least - the likes of Renpa (who is 100% fighting for them), Shouheikun (who'll also fight for them) and Karin. We know how hyped these people are, right? If Kouen is set up to be the "main", #1 antagonist there, it's yet another clue to how outrageously powerful Hara will have him be.
As much as Hara generally follows historical trajectories/events, he's super fine in also having things different in other aspects. In his manga, just to cite a single random example, Renpa and Ouki are equals, whereas in RL Renpa was clearly the greater general. Hara has also blatantly set up Shin to be greatest GG of all times (this was, again, never the case in RL)... and guess who was an immense enemy to Shin historically? Kouen.
In the manga were Kouen will be set up to be this extremely important foe to him (again, the man who Hara will make the GG ever), his in- manga portrayal, his future role in general...it's clear that Kouen will be something absolutely terrifying. If it turns out that Kouen is a stronger general than folks like Ouki/Renpa (with the gaps not being big ofc, they are all at that top level), I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

I rarely go the Kingdom reddit but I argue that it should be renamed to something which encapsulates the sheer amount of Riboku downplay there lol.

I think burning the city was a bluff. He did in fact evacuate the civilians, Shin didn’t look mad at all lol
I’m also expecting a stunt from the Zenou remnants, a couple chapters ago one of them was being treated for his wounds, so potentially he revealed their hideout? This is big cope but I still don’t believe the 2nd strongest man in china died offscreen

Either way north is slipping out of his hands.
- A big chunk of the army is already not listening to his orders right now.
- Next would be civilians feeling helpless.
- Ousen moving towards Roumou.
- Gian might again be empty.
Only best possible way left is SBS arrives with completely different army or if Riboku could call a different army in such short duration.
