Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

Prince Entan of Yan will be the main catalyst of Ei Sei going insane. Entan was a childhood friend of Ei Sei, they spent time in Zhao as prisoners together.

Historically Entan masterminds an assassination attempt on Ei Sei’s life that comes extremely close to succeeding. This is after Qin conquers Zhao and is poised to conquer the other states minus Chu.

The effect this will have on Ei Sei’s psyche will be where his fits of paranoia and distrust begin. “If I can’t trust Entan (my best friend), I can’t trust anyone.” Additionally this will likely be where Ei Sei’s delusions and spiritual visions become much worse. Entan will very much be the main cause for Ei Sei’s insanity and descent into villainy.
Ooo I see I see..
I have read multiple times about Ei Sei going insane, so this Prince Entan will be the main trigger...

But, do you think it is kinda weird? The manga never helps with this case either...
The manga never focused even once (iirc) about this childhood friendship between Ei Sei and Entan. Instead, the manga always shows, Ei Sei's closest friends are Shin and Shobunkun.
It is like, Uta, the childhood friend of Luffy who never mentioned until recently, suddenly appeared and tried to kill Luffy, and Luffy goes permanently insane after that event.
Uta = Entan. Shin, Shobunkun = Straw Hats.

This probably doesn't sound like Kanki's character to bluff. But is he actually running to west while threatening Riboku to go to opposite direction?
I think it's not about bluff but Riboku is just surprised that when Kanki has the opportunity than why he didn't ran towards Taigen which is quite nearby as well (i think that was the name of Qin's castle on the border of Zhao) but surprisingly Kanki went deep inside Zhao and towards east.

More importantly the more interesting thing is Kanki might be dividing Riboku's army in different places and would be waiting for Ousen's army to come in bulk and than start counter attacking. Its just an assumption but Riboku already had to sent bulk in Sekirei while now in he would be leaving a bulk as well coz of Ousen and Kanki both.

Another interesting point :

Kanki might be dividing Riboku's army. First Riboku definitely has left some portion in Sekirei (prevention from Ousen as well), than now he will definitely leave some here in Gian considering how Kanki is in the open, now Riboku has pointed out about Bihu (which might be Hika) and Riboku said to move towards Hika though Author has put a "but...." in narration.

Kanki now has 10k of his own while around 10to15k of HSU+GKK+Saki and seihe unit. So around 25k army should be good enough to guerilla warfare.

Now if Ousen somehow takes Roumou (while defeating SBS generals there) than it would be quite a setback for Riboku as well to deal with this situation.
Good point. Riboku might split the army to be safe.

I never saw Shoubunkun as Sei’s friend. A hyper loyal vassal and trusted subordinate sure. But “friend”? Nah.

Shin and Sei can be considered friends but Shin and Sei also have virtually nothing in common, they both have opposite backgrounds and life experience and are more connected by their goals and dreams if anything.

Entan will be the only person who truly understands Sei as he and Sei will have identical backgrounds. I’m sure this will play a large role in Sei’s insanity as the only person who truly understands what Sei went through will ultimately “betray” him.

As for the convenience factor, I think Hara strategically only showed us Sei’s childhood at a time where Entan was already rescued. Like we only saw Sei after his best friend in Zhao was taken from him and he was truly alone. “Convenient?” Maybe. It’s possible Hara hadn’t fully figured out what he wanted to do with Entan back then but I could see Hara writing it in a way that makes perfect sense.

i thought that Kanki, Shin and Mouten have 10k combined now?

If Ou Sen isn't going to move, Yo Tan Wa likely isn't either.

That said, I could see some wisdom in Ou Sen ordering YTW to march to Tai Gen and assume command, or march on Roumou while coordinating with Tai Gen forces to meet them there.

Only trouble there is that the Qin don't actually know how large the Roumou Army is. None of the troops that encountered them survived.

Riboku, 300+ chapters ago - I found Kanki's weakness :smart:
Riboku now - if I lose it might be against Kanki. :laughmoji:
Ri Boku knows Kan Ki's weakness, and he's self-aware enough to know his own limitations.

What's the issue?

I think Futei of SSJ commented on Kanki having army of around 10k left while during Gian's siege, HSU and GKK together were around 15k as well. Lastly there's only Saki and Kanki's seige unit is left.
The Qin have ~10K left in all of Northern Zhao. As far as the Zhao are concerned, Kan Ki is the boogeyman mastermind behind all of the Qin's movements, so seizing Gian and the army that took it are accredited to him.

Of the 25K Shin and Mou Ten had between them, they lost more than half of their fighting strength at Gishi Plains, and that number went down again after the Siege of Gian, which was a bloody and difficult struggle.

In ch 736 Ma Ron tells Na Ki they've only brought a few hundred cavalrymen.

Meaning the majority of the 55K Kan Ki Army got wiped out.

yeah, chasing after Kanki in blinds have always played out well for everyone. RIP En Kan..:catsweat:
I was thinking this as well. Lol

Though chapter's title is bit confusing. It is regarding what Riboku said 2 chapter's back about Kanki's neck (that would the conclusion to this war) or it is sarcasm and the real meaning in the sense that Kanki still has few counters left !?

Which countries boundry is close in this area ? May b they will chase Kanki out of Zhao
Currently none. He could have reached Qin as it was near but Hika is in opposite direction and more deeper in north while Yan quite far from there.
