I don't think that's true. Sanji's vinsmoke body allowed him to recover from an otherwise fatal attack from Queen. I think the only way to do damage to Sanji he can't recover from is to instantly kill him. I think Zoro would need CoC to do that.

On top of that he has advanced version of Haki that isn't even his specialty.

Zoro has AdCoC because all of the strongest have it, he can't be a top tier without top haki or an overpowered DF, at best it's a parallel with Ray, Mihawk, Oden, etc, people that have something in common with Zoro.
