Look I'm not married to the idea that the weakling trio is able of defeating the topi roppo alone. But I'm affirmitive the mid trio can.

For all the talk, Oda is pretty damn consistent with power levels. Luffy defeated Doflamingo with tons of help, and the next fight he still couldn't defeat Cracker without help, then the next fight he was outclassed by Katakuri to the point where Katakuri had to nerf himself for Luffy to keep up.

Enies Lobby is the outlier.

If he were to make it happen now it will be due to specific circumstances, tons of help, and new abilities.

Senor Pink, Machvise, etc... -> Franky (96 million bounty)
Dellinger, Lao G, Gladius -> Bartolomeo, Sai (200-210 million bounty)
Trebol, Diamante -> Kyros, Law
Pica -> Zoro
Vergo -> Law

Guys like Lao G and Gladius were beaten by Sai and Bartolomeo, and were still below Trebol and Diamante, let alone Pica or Vergo.

Sai even had to use strong black armament to take out Lao G...

Let's say Oda nerfs the women as he does and Robin/Nami skid by, who are Franky and Brook gonna beat? Who's Who? Sasari? Page One? X-Drake? Come on...

I don't consider a good portion of pre-ts to be consistent, when he needs to buff characters so they can fit in a certain power tier despite them clearly not belonging there, he doesn't seem to give a fuck. Ergo Crocodile or Sanji/Zoro, as they're likely set to solo top commanders, despite Sanji still struggling with mid tiers, and could barely classify as bottom level commander tier fighter.

Hence i don't think the mid trio soloing characters like Page One is totally impossible.

This is going to end really bad for you lol. There are no other notable characters below BMs "Monsters" or the Tobi Roppo/Numbers.

Unless you expect them to fight nobody practically, I truly don't know what you are trying to argue here. What, is their fight against random headliner, unknown Big Mom Child 50 is supposed to be their main battles? Are they not supposed to grow from Wano? You severely underestimate the main characters and severely overestimate the villains/Supernova.

He gave Sanji a power rangers quick fix powerup exactly for this reason. Zoro hasn't gone all out, yet still got haki focused training to prepare.

Crocodile is a case of a character being introduced too early. At this point Oda has solidified the verse and the characters among them. He knows how big the gaps are and where Luffy needs to be. Luffy doesn't just magically get exponentially stronger we saw that through all his battles post skip. Oda could have easily shown that after defeating a Cracker level opponent back on Dressrosa, he now stood clear cut above that level, but he got humbled off the bat on WCI.

Pre timeskip only looks bad in retrospect because of a lack of planning around Haki. This isn't an issue for post skip or current events. He's not perfect but when was the last time he was inconsistent? Atleast a decade ago?

People are mostly focused on Topi Roppo because the thing is that Kaido crew look so lame below the topi roppo : They're brawlers with chinese knock off for zoans, pretty boring.
Lower ranked Big Mom crewmembers are more interesting because even the non-veteran have interesting abilities.

Oh yeah but all 6 apparently will BM crew members, nice logic there. You didn't even give me 6 characters. Raisin got low diffed by Sanji in one hit you think he presents a challenge to any Strawhat? At least Page One took 3 hits and seems fine after.

And you misunderstand, not saying they can't fight them, but the whole point is this isn't really their arc to begin with. Strawhat opponents are almost always hyped before they are fought. None of those characters were even hyped in their own arc.

I guarantee you those characters will all be fodderized just like many of the headliners will in the end. None of them would ever feel like a signficant, important victory like Tobi Roppo, Numbers, Top Ministers, and All Stars would be.
