Controversial How far are you willing to lower the bar for one piece?

Honestly one piece is in a weird place where there is a loud minority that screams Goda and doesn't like any criticism. And point at the nitpickers to dodge the real criticism.
while the other side is another loud minority of people nitpicking individual panels every chapter and pointing at the avid supporters and saying they can't handle criticism while ignoring most people are fine with some criticism.
Both sides kinda just canabalize off each other while the average reader is just chilling

I think the funniest thing is there actually are users here spending more time bitching about One Piece than the time it'd take to read 3 chapters a month.
I haven't lowered my standards in the slightest. I know what to expect from the story and action beats. I'd say the only thing that truly disappointed me about Wano was the lack of awakening from any Zoan user. Action beats were fine. The story was servicable for the extreme length and number of characters. The pluton twist was pretty cool but still needs payoff. That's that. Onto the next arc.
Also good luck, at this rate the story still isn't ending anytime soon for you to read the end lol

People expect too much of this show in the sense that they expect a masterpiece with no flaws at ALL while forgetting this show has been running non stop for 20+ years...
The main thing i expect from OP is entertainment, cool character designs and mysteries that keep me on the Edge of the chair craving for more and more chapters, as long as OP keep providing me with that, i'm staying for the ride.

Only one that didn't receive bad treatment was Doflamingo but then TAC did abandoned him midway through.....

WCI was already bad in my eyes and the rest was mid after the ts
OP has no special place in my heart anymore and I’m noticing it more and more with each passing day
I’m working in a bookstore and have access to every volume, figures and merchandise for a cheaper price but I don’t buy it. 4 years ago I would’ve wasted all my money for it
I don’t even care about break weeks
I’m not a little bit sad about the upcoming breaks
So OP reached the lowest point in my heart but why do I keep reading and will never drop OP?
Simply because of curiosity. I’m watching OP since 2003/04 and it was a big part of life my life. I wanna know how it ends and maybe the final arc will be good and my excitement will come back.
