It could be because of this example of Blackbeard (black) and Shanks (red), in separate cases we have Kaidou having the color purple (his BG 923 attack) and the color blue (Roof after using the invisible blades) and later the use of black and red.

That's what the official coloring showed...
So far Kaidou might be the only one to show two different colors.

Purple comes from mixing red and blue so Kaido has both color haki :myman:
