mid diff katakuri eh? reverie sabo isnt far from wci luffy or doffy. so he would simply get luffy treatment by kata.the key beating katakuri is adv coo and speed which sabo lack in there and not superior than luffy's. fujitora has similiar feats like katakuri which is excels in coo. and sabo cannot even grazed him. luffy performs similiar like sabo against fujitora even without g4 or adv haki. same luffy get pummeled by katakuri over 8 hours.
you admit oven is weak without his coa against certain enemy but forgot that coa isnt the only type haki that can be crucial in a certain fight against certain individual.

Sabo at the time of Dresrossa knew advanced CoA and jumped onto admiral telling him to stop playing with him.
Post Reverie Sabo would at least somehow know how to utilize his DF with his fighting style and his dragon claw style would hurt Katakuri a lot especially that if you remember base Luffy didn't do sh*t to Kata but when our boi pulled G4 Kata started to playing more carefully because he knew G4 can harm him hard. Yes Kata have better CoO than Sabo but Sabo has better CoA on the other hand.

it's clearly you favor coa over coo.
simple boundman punch can hurt katakuri and sent him flying. but it's turn out become useless if it cant connect. without great coo and enough speed to by pass katakuri adv coo the adv coa will be as useless as that boundman punch. and again, sabo is not superior than luffy in speed or coo department. if he is that good. at least he can grazed fujitora with his adv coa. but no he didnt right. yes he get caught in marie joa bcause fujitora stop playing like in dressdrosa and start put some effort agaisnt him lol.
in contrary sabo cannot freely transform to his logia df since it will increase the possibility of him get hit by katakuri bcause katakuri great at find an opening esp in wider and greater target like logia body user.
