.....I'm pretty sure you know it yourself that these fights might happen and is very likely... you are just trying to justify what happened in the past any way you can ....
as much as you dislike the vast gap there being shown among them and then they get beaten, I on the other hand not just dislike but HATE them but I've already given up having my hopes up with Oda
Of course with Major help(not a 1on1 fight), as the same as I though for the mid/low trio to face the numbers/flying six if they fight them.

Do they gonna fight them most like in a 1on1 fight? In my opinion not, they face them in a teambattle.
If Oda would rather give the strawhats more among of experince in battles like Luffy with extrem battles, which gaining powerups and becoming stronger, with having feats enough to face Flying six, I would buy a probably 1on1 fight, but that isn´t the case.
Someone as Nami was already overwelmed by Galetta, Brook had probably with Sheepshead and then seeing how Franky and Usopp shitting their pants in front of Pageone while having Sanji and Law on their side, it is hard to believe a 1on1 fight in wano against any flying six.
As I said I can understand anyone who want a better portrayal for the mid/low trio strawhats, I want it too, for Usopp and Robin at most. But Oda sadly sleeping the last arcs and fail to portray them better, I can´t imagine now that he change everything what he draw only to give the strawhats a 1on1 battles...
But yeah we gonna see soon what he really plan for them.

Its not, initial spoilers leaked early from a computer. The images you are seeing aren't from a magazine leak, its before its even printed. Don't expect real spoilers until this weekend or early next week.
You are reading into this way too hard. Oda does things like this to characterize his villains. This is being used as a means to:
- Introduce Kaido's son to us
- Characterize the Flying 6 and All Stars.
- Show that the Beasts Pirates respect almost no one except Kaido himself.
Its not a new subplot or plotline. While Luffy and crew invade, he's giving the villains things to do as a means to characterize them.
Scotchinformer said it but its not fully confirmed yet. Likely someone who "saw" the previews for the following Issue saw that one piece wasn't there, but he said it wasn't confirmed.
