You realize he literally murdered Kaido? He could murder Lucci with 5% of his max power if Oda wanted to.

Maybe realize Oda is doing some stuff on purpose.

He is not salty, it is not like Luffy never defeated him pre TS. Actually if one should know Luffy's growth it should be Lucci.
He went from low diff Lucci in Water 7, to actually got defeated by same character in Ennies Lobby.

But in the end, he was seemingly disappointed by Egghead Luffy's powerlevel. He is not Yonko level.

Sure if the one saying it was Crocodile or Moria, whom have directly involved with real Yonko in the past, their words would have more weight.
But even if Crocodile and Moria saying Luffy is not Yonko level, I can tell diehard fanboys like Celestial and Bocchi would still be in denial.

Luffy vould have stayed and knocked out Lucci since he was close to losing consciousness but he had to catch a transportation pod with the SWs. He didnt have the time to do the job and save sentomaru/fully knock out Lucci

The previous Yonko maintained some standards. It was extremely hard to even see one a while back. Their presence alone is considered a calamity or something worth worldwide attention. Luffy doesn't have that kind of overwhelming presence, nor does he maintain the standards of a typical Yonko. That explains why Lucci doesn't want to acknowledge Luffy. Stussy, however, knows better than to judge a book by its cover. Lucci could learn a thing or two from her.

Gear 5 is not that superior to Kaido at his prime. It might even be a little inferior since the person in question here is a freaking 19 year old who is stupider than a common man.
Also, Lucci is not that weak. He might be a bitter motherfucker now who still thinks that his lost 2 years ago was an exemption to the norm. But still, he's also an awakened Zoan. He might have been temporarily knocked out by a single punch from Luffy but to make a comparison, dozens of that were unable to knock out Kaido as well.

Lucci got negged with base G5 attacks no CoC or heck base armament. If he uses CoC any awakened Zoan will be negged.

Gear 5 Luffy couldn't afford to KO Lucci (isn't it supposed to take very short time @sanjikun ) and chickened from the battlefield Big Mom style against Marco.
