In the manga, sanji said he started feeling weird after using the suit for the 2nd time (bath house).
In the anime, he said "after the third time" (saving Momo).
Guess they fixed it?

The scene seems fine, though.

Take the manga panel and a ruler and measure the sides from the outer to Zoro, and from outer to Sanji. Then take the screenshot.
They changed the composition to give Zoro more of the screen. They changed the symbolism.

Interesting.. Saving Momo would be his brush with King. I think I read somewhere that Oda specifically got on the manga translators case for that one? Seems like a supsicious fix to go to so much trouble for. He's got to be hinting at something there.

Honestly, the part of Zoro cutting the laser beam when, during his fight against King, he has problems with King's "beam-like attacks" is the biggest problem.

The "Star" thing sounds more like a honest mistake from someone who didn't read the original material.

This. The stars, and compositional changes just lost a huge part of their depth. Like sacrificing symbolism for more flashy attacks just killed it. I was really looking forward to that part too.

This episode's conundrum is more that it basically starts with the ENDING of the "the starts take the stage" chapter.
Thought it was really weird, ngl.

Let's not be hypocritical here and remember that there are people from this very fandom who tries to push some imbecile agenda of "sanji is the WingS alone".



The fact that people at Toei favors Zoro is nothing new.
Be happy with that Sanji vs King/Queen extended scene to compensate for that shit show that was reusing the animations from the Page One fight against King.

If I'm honest, I don't even like Wano in the anime. Like.. The line-art is too sketchy. And the eyes. Having their eyes especially Sanji's filled in with gray instead of that iconic white the anime has always used for intense moments just feels ... off. I really really hope this is just Wano and we go back to WCI or any other arcs art style for the remainder arcs.
