Pre TS it was hilarious at times
Post TS the charm is lost because characters became one-trick ponies who just say their catchphrases, so the comedic aspect is forced instead of natural
Your avatar reminded me. Can't believe I forgot Jojo. Yea that's def up there. Prob after Gintama. Over the top stupidity just gets me.

I loved Naruto, not a single comedic moment in my years of reading got me to deviate from a straight face. Even in my most immature middle school days.

The unintentional stuff is what got me in Naruto, mostly Obito scenes. War arc had me cracking tf up. Coolest guy chapter had me on the floor. And there was also the scene where Kishi drew a black page with text that said "I don't care anymore" which had me dying. On a reread post Danzo fight, when Kakashi was gonna use Kamui and Obito told Kakashi to halt because "it won't work on him" like it wasn't the one thing that could work on him πŸ’€, I always imagine him sweating bricks behind the mask hoping Kakashi buys his bluff.

Same deal with Bleach. The intended comedy scenes are extremely lame but the unintentional stuff is hilarious to me.

GTO is one of my favourite mangas of all time and I don't think it's all that funny. Really it's just Gintama all on it's own with a massive gap, then One Piece.
Really? I thought GTO was funny whenever Onizuka got roasted by his students. That 1 vs 100 arm-wrestling match was funny throughout, too.

It used ti be funny. Maybe the funniest arc, at least for me, was Sabaody part 2, it was a good series of gags and also quite epic at the same time. Now that Wano sinked the ship I find hard to even smile at it anymore. Honestly I don't remember the last fun panel, maybe a gag between strawhats somewhere somewhen.

Yes, pre-time skip was hilarious. Even some of the fillers were comedy gold.

There are still some funny scenes here and there, but I agree with those who’ve said that it’s lost some of its charm. also that the creepiness/pervy factor increased.

The last genuine laugh was probably Brook acting as a ghost in Orochi’s palace and placing a curse on Nami.
